From Rack to Door

FROM RACK TO DOOR

WHAT HAPPENS
BEFORE IT GETS TO YOU.

The shop is only the last part of the process. Before a piece is listed, it has already been found, handled, checked, measured, photographed, and considered through a stylist’s eye.

01 — FOUND

THE HUNT COMES FIRST.

The rack is built from resale, private collections, vintage, wardrobe pieces, estate finds, local sourcing, and strong branded goods already in circulation. The goal is not endless supply. It is finding pieces worth putting back into somebody’s life.

02 — CHECKED

CONDITION GETS A REAL LOOK.

Wear, hardware, closures, lining, fabric, shape and obvious flaws are part of the decision. Pre-owned should still feel worth owning. When something has character, that can be a plus. When something has damage, that should be disclosed.

03 — MEASURED

FIT NEEDS MORE THAN A TAG.

Vintage sizing, international sizing, altered pieces and different brand standards can make a label misleading. Measurements are part of the product, not an afterthought.

04 — PHOTOGRAPHED

THE REAL PIECE HAS TO SHOW UP.

The point of the photography is to help you read the item: shape, texture, condition, color, details and scale. Styled imagery can show the idea. Product imagery should show the truth.

05 — STYLED

THEN IT GETS A POINT OF VIEW.

A good piece should connect to a wardrobe, not just a category. That is where proportion, layering, color, day-to-night use and the California part of the Benedetto eye come in.

06 — PACKED

THE LAST HANDOFF STILL MATTERS.

Orders are packed from Los Angeles with presentation in mind. The goal is simple: the piece should arrive feeling like it came from a wardrobe studio, not a faceless warehouse.

THE LONG VERSION OF TRUST

You should know what you are buying, why it was selected, and who is standing behind it. That is the job.
